Built in 1975, the building was used by the client for offices. The old structure, with the exception of its foundations, will give way to a new building with high environmental standards and sustainable construction. Its positioning as a 3* superior hotel mainly featuring family rooms will bring added value to Lucerne and the up-and-coming local area. Nice! We were able to assist with the final stages of the tender for the operator and manage the interior design competition through to the award stage. The client has also re-engaged us due to cost overruns and to assist with IT infrastructure. Tricky tasks? Yes please! We find solutions. Analytical, pragmatic, even unconventional where required.
The on-and-off nature of this project. Our work is flexible. As a client consultant, we are involved on an hourly basis and continually adapt to the current circumstances. This is time-consuming, as we have to keep reacquainting ourselves with the situation. For the operator tender, we supported one operator's concept, but this was not considered for the shortlist. What’s next? Exciting stuff is still to come!
